How To Create Multiboot USB Flash Drive With Windows 7 And XP In Just Three Steps (Simple Guide)


A guide to create multiboot XP and Windows 7 with just a few mouse clicks.

We are using a free utility named WinSetupFromUSB in this guide. Though we are going to create a multiboot USB with XP and Windows 7 setup on it, you can also use this guide to create multiboot USB with XP and Vista as well.

Before following the procedure, make sure that you have connected an empty USB flash drive (8GB and above) formatted in FAT32 file system.

Here are the three simple steps to create multiboot USB with XP and Windows 7:



1. Download WinSetupFromUSB utility, and extract the contents of zip file to desktop.

2. Run the utility (WinSetupFromUSB.exe) and make sure that the utility has detected your USB flash drive.

3. Now, enable the option named Windows 2000/XP/2003 Setup and browse to XP installation files folder. If you have XP ISO file, use 7-Zip utility to extract it.

Next, enable the entry named Vista/7/Server 2008 Setup/PE/RecoveryISO option and browse to the Vista or Windows 7 installation files folder. Again, if you have Windows 7 ISO file, please use 7-Zip tool.

Click the Go button to start creating your XP and Windows 7 multiboot USB flash drive. It might take an hour to complete the procedure.
