Rumus Menentukan PK AC Yang Sesuai

Begitu banyak pilihan fitur yang ditawarkan dari berbagai tipe AC, mulai dari hemat listrik hingga fitur yang dapat menghasilkan udara bersih dan sehat. Pemilihan fitur-fitur ini kembali pada kebutuhan masing-masing konsumen.

Namun, jika berhubungan dengan pemilihan ukuran PK yang tepat, Anda tentu harus memperhatikan luasan ruangannya. Jangan sampai AC dengan PK kecil diletakkan di ruangan yang relatif besar. Akibatnya, efek dingin AC tidak akan terasa. Atau sebaliknya, jika ruang kecil ditempatkan AC dengan PK besar, justru akan memboroskan energi listrik.

Dalam menentukan besaran PK, Anda bisa menjadikan British Termal Unit (BTU) sebagai acuan besaran.

Nilai BTU dapat Anda ketahui dengan mengalikan panjang (p) dan lebar (l) ruangan dalam satuan meter dengan 500 (besaran baku BTU).

Contohnya, untuk ruangan 3 x 2 meter, maka perhitungannya sebagai berikut:

Nilai BTU = p x l x 500 = 3 x 2 x 500 = 3.000 BTU (karena kurang dari 5.000 BTU, maka masih memungkinkan penggunaan AC ½ PK).

Adapun acuan menentukan besaran PK sebagai berikut:

½ PK = 5.000 BTU (batas maksimal)

¾ PK = 7.000 BTU

1 PK = 9.000 BTU

1 ½ PK = 12.000 BTU

2 PK = 18.000 BTU

Arti Kode pada MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker)

MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) atau umumnya disebut dengan Breaker merupakan salah satu perangkat penting dalam instalasi listrik. MCB yang digunakan sebagai pelindung rangkaian listrik ini umumnya digunakan sebagai pengaman mesin di pabrik maupun sebagai pembatas arus di rumah dan gedung.

Untuk melindungi keselamatan kita sendiri maupun keamanan perangkat listrik rumah kita,  kita perlu memilih dan menentukan MCB/Breaker yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan kita. Arti Kode pada MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker)

Pada umumnya, Batas Arus dan karakteristik kurva sebuah MCB telah tercetak di permukaan MCB itu sendiri. Cara membacanya pun mudah. Berikut ini beberapa tulisan atau kode penting yang tercetak di MCB itu sendiri dan perlu kita ketahui.

Arti kode MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker)

Model Number (Nomor Model)

Untuk mempermudah komunikasi antara produsen dan konsumen, setiap MCB dilengkapi dengan nomor modelnya. Setiap produsen memiliki penomoran masing-masing. Jika ada keluhan, kita dapat menyebutkan nomor modelnya sehingga produsen ataupun penjual dapat dengan mudah mengetahui jenis dan nilai MCB yang bersangkutan.

Batas Arus dan nilai kurva MCB

Seperti gambar contoh diatas, terdapat tulisan C16. C menandakan karakteristik kurvanya yang terdiri dari 3 tipe umum yaitu B, C dan D. Tipe B akan trip apabila terjadi kelebihan arus sebesar 3 hingga 5 kali lipat. Tipe C akan trip apabila arus yang melewatinya lebih besar 5 hingga 10 kali. Sedangkan tipe D adalah 10 hingga 25 kali.

Pemilihan karakteristik kurva ini harus hati-hati, peralatan yang berbeda memerlukan jenis karakteristik yang berbeda pula. Contohnya seperti peralatan-peralatan listrik yang memiliki beban resistif (Heater dan Lampu Penerangan) harus menggunakan MCB tipe B, Peralatan listrik yang memiliki beban induktif seperti Pompa dan Motor harus menggunakan MCB tipe C sedangkan peralatan listrik yang memiliki beban induktif dan kapasitif yang sangat tinggi harus menggunakan MCB tipe D.

Bagian Angka di belakang karakteristik kurva adalah batas Arus listrik dalam satuan Ampere. Contoh diatas menunjukan angka 16 yang artinya adalah 16 Ampere.

Tegangan Operasional

Nilai Tegangan Operasional adalah dalam satuan Volt. Tulisan ini menyatakan nilai Tegangan yang dapat digunakan. Listrik 3 fase biasanya menggunakan MCB 400V atau 415V sedangkan fase tunggal adalah 230V atau 240V. Pilihlah nilai tegangan operasional sesuai dengan aplikasinya. Ada MCB yang dapat diaplikasikan untuk listrik fase tunggal dan listrik 3 fase. Ada juga yang hanya salah satunya.

Kapasitas Breaking MCB

Yang dimaksud dengan Kapasitas Breaking MCB (MCB Breaking Capacity) adalah kemampuan kerja atau daya tahan MCB. Jika MCB-nya tertulis 6000, ini berarti MCB yang bersangkutan masih baik hingga maksimal 6000A dan akan rusak jika arus yang mengalirinya melebih 6000A.

Kelas Energi

Kelas Energi atau Energy Class adalah spesifikasi MCB yang menyatakan karakteristik energi maksimum dari arus listrik yang dapat melalui MCB. Kelas Energi pada MCB diklasifikasikan menjadi 3 kelas yaitu kelas 1, kelas 2 dan kelas 3. Kelas 3 adalah yang terbaik karena memungkinkan energi yang melaluinya sebesar 1,5L joule/detik.

Indikator Status

Indikator Status terdiri dua yaitu ON dan OFF. Jangan beli MCB yang tidak memiliki indikator status yang jelas karena akan menyebabkan kebingungan sehingga mengakibatkan kerusakan yang serius atau berpotensi membahayakan.

Simbol Operasi MCB

Simbol Operasi MCB ini menunjukan jumlah Pole MCB, jika terdapat dua simbol berarti MCB yang bersangkutan adalah MCB dua pole.

MULTI INTELLIGENCE OR QUOTIENT (IQ, EQ, CQ, PQ, AQ, SQ)

According to Mainstream psychology, IQ constributes only about 20 percent to the factors that determine life success, which leaves 80 % to other forces. Solving logical or strategic problems involves the use of rational intelligence and is termed as “ intellectual Quotient (IQ)” initially only verbal and mathematical logical capabilities were considered intelligence.

Haward Garndner’s book “Frames of mind” denied the narrow IQ view and extended the concept to include Spactial capacity, Physical fluidity, Musical capability, Inter personal intelligence, intra-personal intelligence etc.

Where IQ measures the ability to grasp, retain and recall factual knowledge. Emotional Intelligence (EQ), measures the ability to understand and manage people, situation, emotions, challenges mature way.

IQ (intellectual Quotient)

IQ lead us to think, make cause-effect analysis, doin' math, describe somethin' and create our level of understanding. But many people just concentrate in this holy shit thing! Because I thought before, this is our future, what we learn at school, 8 hours per day, 6 days a week for 16 years in elementary school, junior high school, senior high school, and collage.

EQ (Emotional Quotient)

EQ is knowledge about knowing our self, sensitivity to feel change in our environment and also to estimate time, empathy, communication skill (I called it communication with voice and also with gesture, either with heart), courageous to confess our mistakes, respect diversity, etc. Who gonna be successful leader should develop these more than others! but keep your life in balance!

• People with high EQ exhibits and express their feelings clearly and directly
• Thery are not dominated by negative emotions such as fear, worry, guild, shame, embarrassment, obligation, disappointment and hopelessness
• They are able to read non-verbal communication.
• They balance feelings with reason, logic and reality

PQ is our body of course! We should count it on, coz' our body, my body is beautiful. Hohoho.. It has authority for a living. My brain executes heart to beat, lungs to suck the air, self-healing, laughing, sneeze, and also fart! pufff... It's amazing. Isn't it?

Physical Quotient (PQ) indicates the capacity to work through situation through your physical proves. That means effective and efficient use of your hand eyes coordination. Kind of skill and flawless fluidity demonstrated by sportsman, warriors, fighters, performers, athlets, dancer etc.

CQ (Creativity Quotient)

• People with creativity are fluent thinker, able to generate possibilities, consequneces, or relate ideas
